Dominican Republic University Installs Fuel Cell

First Element Energy, and Fuel Cell Solutions,,   are very pleased to announce the installation of a PEM hydrogen fuel cell at La Universidad APEC (UNAPEC),, in the Dominican Republic.

“UNAPEC is the first University in the Dominican Republic that has installed a fuel cell system through the assistance of FCS and FEE and is a great occasion for this University and an important contribution to clean energy technologies.  This system is installed on the Engineering campus and will be used to examine, characterize and validate the efficiency and the benefits of fuel cell technology.  At the same time this system will be used to educate and inform the engineering students in basic fuel cell technology and its benefits.  As a pioneeer in implementing this technology, UNAPEC will become an important source of knowledge in counselling other educational institutions, government agencies and private companies for the expansion of hydrogen energy systems across the Caribbean.”  UNAPEC spokesperson.
